Christ in us, for you

A ministry without
walls or borders.

Founded by Stephen and Heila Kuhn, Christlife International Ministries is an interdenominational ministry serving the Body of Christ with the Good News.

Our message & calling

Our vision is to help believers discover their identity in Christ, equip the saints, and help them discover their ministry in Christ.

Our motto is “Christ in us, for you.” At the heart of our Gospel is the mystery Paul speaks of in Romans 16:25 and Colossians 1:25–27: Christ in us, our hope of glory. Our ministry is founded on Jesus’ words from the cross: “It is finished.”

Operating from the Western Cape in South Africa, we serve believers worldwide with the Gospel of Grace. Our Afrikaans WhatsApp ministry reaches several thousand people daily, and we also produce English broadcasts on available electronic platforms.

We feel a specific calling to serve the Church in the USA, particularly congregations awaiting their next pastor and pastors seeking temporary assistance while taking a rest. We are also called to serve and support missionary work in Africa.

Stephen & Heila Kuhn

Stephen and Heila have served in full-time congregational ministry for 45 years. They have three children and nine grandchildren. Both are ordained pastors, fully committed to ministry. Heila has sensed the Lord’s calling since her school years and is also a registered marriage officer.

After finishing school, Stephen served in the South African Air Force for two years. Their first two congregations were in Namibia, where they served for five years and experienced a revival that transcended cultural boundaries. The Lord then called them back to South Africa, where they had the privilege of pastoring several large congregations.

Following a period of spiritual burnout, they stepped away from their denomination to seek the Lord regarding their future and to minister internationally to the Body of Christ. They are now based in George in the Western Cape, where they have served at Kruis/Grace Church for the past 25 years while ministering internationally.

A foundation in Scripture

Stephen completed his theological studies with the AFM of South Africa and later earned a doctorate in New Testament studies, focusing on Pauline theology.

He has authored seven books, founded four congregations, and managed and ministered in numerous interdenominational Bible schools. His teaching includes commentaries on Galatians and Romans, the Blood Covenant, the Gospel of Grace, and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

He frequently speaks at conferences, camps, and churches and has served as a presenter on radio stations in South Africa and Namibia.

Our vision

That Christ may be all and in all.

We exist to glorify God by inviting people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and a community that passionately loves God and actively loves others. We equip believers to become multiplying ambassadors of Christ and reach the nations.

As an evangelical expression of the Body of Christ, we are committed to seeing the Good News of Jesus proclaimed through lives of worship, relationships, and outreach to our cities and the world.

Our statement of faith

We believe in:

  • The Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God.
  • One God, eternally existing in three persons.
  • The virgin birth of Christ, His vicarious, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension.
  • Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.
  • Water baptism by immersion.
  • The Lord’s Supper as a New Covenant meal.
  • Divine healing through the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.
  • The baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • Christianity as an exchanged life, where Christ is our only life.
  • The imminent second coming of Jesus Christ.
